So here is the continuation to the Feature Friday post for “The Stellar Experience”.
So as previously mentioned, you will start off your “Stellar Experience” with a pre-dinner drink at the 1-Altitude Bar, then you will be ushered to Stellar to feast, then to end it off, you will be treated to the 1-Caramel Experience.
So Chef Christopher Miller, along side his pasty chef, performed a seemingly choreographed movement to plate the desserts in front of us. The movement between each of them were almost flawless, almost like a pair of salsa dancer moving in syncing harmony.
Less of the flowery talk, more to the desserts.
Valrhona Dark Chocolate Bomb
The dessert came as a chocolate sphere, then Chris poured hot raspberry compote over the sphere to melt the chocolate shell. To much of my surprise, it reveals a Chocolate Mousse that is luscious and rich in taste. The combination of Raspberry and Chocolate is almost proverbial but yet I enjoyed it all the time.
Caramel Crème Brulee, Dulce Leche Ice Cream
This is a sweet tooth’s fantasy. Everything about this dessert encircles the familiar rich taste of caramel. Keep a look out for this dessert.
Cold Lime Souffle
Sour, sharp, tart but still very much enjoyable. It is a great way to cleanse your palate after the meal.
1-Caramel Baked Alaska
The dessert is one of the signature. A springy meringue shell that is caramelized on the spot. It covers a luxurious ice cream center that sits on a pedestal of sinful brownie.
Vanilla Panna Cotta, Mango Granite
Smooth french vanilla panna cotta that was given a tropical characteristic by the mango. I preferred the slightly firmer panna cotta served here as compared to the other melt-in-your-mouth variations.
