The last time I went to Science Park was during my poly days when I still have access to some of the server farms hidden there. Back there, there were no developments of Circle Line at all. Going back to Science Park did bring some memories.
My trip here this time did not bring me to a server farm, but instead to this restaurant call The Latin Quarter.
The Latin Quarter is situated in the furthest end of Science Park, about 5-7 minutes bus ride away from One-North MRT station. For a price of S$13.90, you get a South American buffet spread between 9-12 selections.
The menu changes every week, so you’ll probably need to wait for 4-6 weeks before seeing the same items again. The week we went, we had a good selection of salads, rice and meat dishes to choose from.
We loved the Pollo con Leche de Coco or chicken (see picture above), a chicken cooked to a soft tender texture in coconut cream, and the Bahian-fish stew, Moqueca de Peixe.
If you have no time for a proper sit down lunch, for a price of S$7.90, you can doggy bag the Latin cuisine back to your office desk.
While this place does not exactly warrant a special visit, the food is still pretty tasty I should say. If you work around Science Park/One-North and you wanna steer away from the usual food court selections, do give The Latin Quarter a go.
The Latin Quarter is located at
