Yan Ting at The St. Regis Singapore lets you indulge in some exquisitely handcrafted snowskin mooncakes this year. This year, Yan Ting introduces three new snowskin mooncake flavours while bringing back two of the perennial favourites.
Featuring a divine mix of delicate citrus tartness of lemon with a delightfully sweet chocolate truffle, the White Lotus Paste with Lemon Truffle Snowskin Mooncake is one of the new creative flavours introduced this year. One of the other flavours that is debuting this year is the Cranberry Paste with Salted Egg Yolk Snowskin Mooncake. In its rosy pink skin, the mooncake brought a wondrous balance of salty-sweet flavours with the marriage of salted egg yolk as well as sweet cranberry paste.
My favourite this year is the White Lotus Paste with Lychee Martini Truffle Snowskin Mooncake. I love the subtle lychee flavours and the lotus paste wasn’t too cloying. I don’t exactly fancy very sweet mooncakes so this was perfect for me.
Other than these new flavours, making their comeback is the Black Sesame Paste with Melon Seeds Snowskin Mooncake as well as the ever-so-popular Pure ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian Indulgence Snowskin Mooncake.
Prices starts from $72 for a box of 4 baked mooncakes and $73 for a box of 8 snowskin mooncakes.
