Hua Ting Steamboat @ Claymore Connect

Hua Ting Steamboat Interior

The hot pot scene in Singapore had been a steamy one by far and of course it comes with no surprise when the award-winning Chinese restaurant Hua Ting decided to branch out with a steamboat concept of their very own.

Here comes one of the newest players in the field – Hua Ting Steamboat.

Brunch @ Fyr Cycene Ond Drinc

Rustic decor lends the restaurant a distinct olden-day charm

In Singapore, it is a scene where Eggs Benny and its other gallus domesticus ovum variety dominates the brunch menu. If you are getting sick of the same ol’ rotation of eggs, hollandaise sauce and muffin, then you might want to give FYR Cycene Ond Drinc a shot. Continue reading Brunch @ Fyr Cycene Ond Drinc

Chabuton introduces New Premium Tonkutsu Ramen

Chabuton Premium Tonkotsu Ramen The Kurobuta
Chef Yasuji Morizumi is the first-ever ramen chef to have received a coveted Michelin Star.  Your taste buds are now in luck because you can now savour his special ramen creation at Chabuton Singapore.  For a limited time only, Chef Yasuji’s Premium Tonkutsu Ramen will be served at all Chabuton outlets in Singapore.

The Premium Tonkutsu Ramen features a blend of Chabuton’s famous Tonkutsu broth and a chicken collagen broth.  This combination yields a flavoursome concoction that leaves a lasting richness in your mouth.  The piece of Kurobuta pork that was braised for over four hours will literally melt in your mouth.  I have tried several Hakata styled ramen here and in Japan as well; this ramen is definitely your next best choice if you don’t want to burn a large hole at Ippudo.

The new Premium Tokutsu Ramen (S$18.90++) is available at all Chabuton outlets from now to 31st March 2015.
